3 brothers captivate the audience with banjo, fiddle, and guitar performances!

Johnny, Tommy, and Robbie, better known as “The Sleepy Man Banjo Boys,” came on the David Letterman Show to play one of their favorite tunes. Johnny, although he is just nine years old, has mastered the banjo. His brothers are the ones that motivate him to play the  guitar and violin. Such cool kids!

The banjo is a stringed instrument of African American heritage with a rich and diverse history. African slaves in the United States first played it, and white musicians adopted it in the nineteenth century. Modified for usage in genres such as bluegrass and country music, it has subsequently become an essential component of American folk music. Many regions of the world still widely use the banjo today, making it an important instrument in many musical genres.

They adore playing on stage as brothers. Johnny is still hesitant, but when he looks up, his flushed face cannot disguise his charm. Johnny usually plays with his eyes closed because the banjo is too heavy for him.

I am sure you have never seen something like this in your life. A must-watch!!! Please leave us a Facebook comment with your thoughts after watching the complete video below!
